Role Summary

The Staff Signal Integrity Engineer will work with Micron's Signal Integrity High-Performance Memory Systems Group, focusing on high-end, high-performance, high-speed product signaling and power designs. Responsibilities include exploring and developing interconnect and signaling to enhance future performance while engaging with various teams such as Circuit Design and System Integration.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing performance scaling, signaling, and sophisticated packaging.
  • Leveraging modeling and simulation to enhance signal integrity accuracy.
  • Mentoring junior team members through collaboration.
  • Innovating within practical constraints.
  • Communicating complex issues and solutions effectively.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications needed:

  • PhD or MSEE with 10 years of experience.
  • Strong background in SI/PI/EMI theory and application.
  • Experience with E.M. field solvers and simulation tools.
  • Deep understanding of signal integrity and I/O design.
  • Skilled in PCB layout or package design techniques.
  • Familiarity with lab measurement equipment.
  • Statistical analysis knowledge is advantageous.

Education Requirements

PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
