Role Summary

The Staff/Senior Engineer, CAD at Micron Technology will be part of a collaborative team focused on developing software solutions for memory design teams.

Experience Level

Senior level with a minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor or Electronic Design Automation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with semiconductor design teams to solve daily challenges and provide comprehensive software solutions.
• Focusing on Memory Design and CAD infrastructure setup.
• Identifying areas for improvement and developing innovative solutions.
• Developing scalable, clean software systems.
• Implementing new tools and technologies to enhance software flows.
• Guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor or Electronic Design Automation.
• Solid object-oriented programming skills; experience with Python and Pytest is preferred.
• Understanding of version control tools such as Perforce and Bitbucket.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with load balancing platforms like LSF and Jenkins.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with global teams.

Education Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or electronics engineering is required.
