Staff Security Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Arm Solutions Engineering SoC Security Team is seeking creative and enthusiastic SoC Design Engineers to join our diverse and highly-skilled team. This role involves contributing to the specification, design, verification, and productization of Security IP.

Experience Level

Mid-level; applicable experience in design of complex compute subsystems or SoCs is required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing micro-architecture specifications and developing RTL.
• Fixing bugs and performing design exploration and structural checks.
• Partnering with the verification team to support verification debug and achieve functional, power, and performance sign off.
• Managing project activities, plans, and schedules.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Solid understanding of digital hardware design EDA methodologies and Verilog HDL.
• Design and verification experience in Security Hardware, Embedded Processor Systems, Applied Cryptography, Secure Boot, and Key Management.
• Experience with multi-clock domain designs, AXI/AHB protocols, and multi-power domains.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Tcl.
• Experience with ARM-based designs and SystemVerilog methodologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
