Staff Project Manager
Role Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to plan, schedule and deliver RF semiconductor module products, aligning engineering, manufacturing and customers to meet scope, cost, quality and timeline targets.
Manage integrated project schedules, risk mitigation, project communication and continuous improvement. Hybrid: 4 days in office and 1 day remote (within reasonable commuting distance to the office).
Experience Level
Senior (Staff) level — typically 5+ years relevant program/project management experience; 2+ years with a Master’s degree (see Education Requirements).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules; identify milestones, critical path activities and interdependencies.
- Proactively execute risk mitigation for schedule, scope, supply chain and budget risks.
- Lead cross-functional project teams across design, engineering, manufacturing and planning to execute product development phases.
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to internal stakeholders, strategic marketing and customers; escalate significant risks to executive management with corrective action plans.
- Champion Lean continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce cost, optimize material utilization and shorten time-to-delivery.
- Maintain customer focus to prevent line-down situations and protect product quality, cost and schedule integrity.
Requirements
Must-have experience and capabilities:
- Experience defining program schedules for RF semiconductor modules (e.g., HB, TxDSM, LB, UHB), translating customer requirements into design planning and project milestones.
- Proven track record mitigating risks related to supply chain constraints, budget overruns, customer-driven changes and wafer fabrication delays.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to "lead up" to executive stakeholders to resolve obstacles decisively.
- Experience collaborating with design, engineering and planning functions to maintain customer deliverables.
- Hands-on experience implementing Lean or other continuous-improvement programs.
- Ability to work the stated hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote within reasonable commuting distance to Greensboro).

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Industrial, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical) plus 5 years relevant experience; OR Master’s degree in an engineering field (Industrial, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical) plus 2 years relevant experience. Employer accepts a Master’s in lieu of a Bachelor’s with reduced experience. No other certifications were specified.
