Staff/Principal Package R&D Engineer

Role Summary

Senior technical role within a European R&D package engineering team based in Seremban. The role owns package architecture for semiconductor products, provides on-site technical leadership and first-line support, and coordinates with internal teams, OSAT partners and the global package/assembly community to ensure product functionality and performance.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on package architecture, technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration and supporting manufacturing partners.

• Own package architecture and be responsible for product functionality and performance.
• Provide on-site technical first-level support and interface with OSATs and production partners.
• Lead small technical projects and coordinate with internal and external development partners.
• Collect technical customer requirements, track market trends and perform benchmarking.
• Propose and evaluate innovative packaging solutions and improvements.
• Support business group functions with package expertise and interface with global package/assembly community.
• Travel moderately to other company sites and OSAT locations as required.

Education Requirements
