Role Summary
The Staff/Principal Analog Design Engineer will design analog and mixed-signal ICs for Power Management Products using sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS technologies. The role involves product development from definition to introduction.
Experience Level
Senior level with 10+ years of experience in analog design.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Lead and architect design of IP blocks.
- Design analog circuits such as LDOs, Charge Pumps, and Amplifiers.
- Participate in the product development cycle, managing trade-offs.
- Plan and develop test plans for design verification.
- Conduct design reviews and manage tape-out schedules.
- Guide layout engineers and monitor layout progress.
- Work with cross-functional teams for product behavior evaluations.
- Oversee design block verification and simulations.
- Supervise and train junior team members.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
- PhD/MSEE or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in analog design.
- Strong simulation skills in Cadence Environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong analytical skills.
- Solid background in BiCMOS & High Voltage BCD Process Technology.
- Proficiency in transistor level and low power design techniques.
- Understanding of control loop topologies.
Education Requirements
PhD/MSEE or equivalent in Electrical Engineering expected.
