Role Summary
The Sr. Staff Digital Design Engineer leads the design and development of digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) using advanced technologies and industry-standard ASIC tools. The engineer will focus on various products, including power and signal management functions for portable and non-portable markets.

Senior level, requiring 6+ years of experience in digital ASIC design.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role include:
- Digital Architecture Definition and Documentation.
- RTL Design, debugging, and Verification.
- Verification metrics analysis.
- IP Definition, Development, Integration and Verification.
- Synthesis: timing, input/output and DFT constraints definition.
- LEC: constraints definition and debugging.
- P&R support with MMMC definition and debugging.
- DFT Implementation and debugging.
- ATPG Generation and Simulation.
- Gate-Level Verification.
- Power Simulations and Analysis.
- Timing Analysis and Sign-off.
- AMS Verification support.
- Post-Silicon Validation support.
- Collaboration with other departments for Product definition.
Requirements
Requirements include:
- PhD/MS in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis in Digital Design/VLSI coursework.
- 6+ years of experience in digital ASIC design (9+ years preferred).
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with teams.
- Solid knowledge of the full ASIC development process.
- Excellent coding skills in RTL Verilog or System Verilog.
- Knowledge of Digital Verification languages (System Verilog, UVM).
- Understanding of backend flow: Synthesis, P&R, DFT, Power, LEC, and STA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with automotive standards, embedded designs, power management applications, and design interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like TCL, Python, and C/C++ is a plus.
Education Requirements
PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Design or VLSI coursework is required.
