Role Summary

As a staff-level Systems Design Engineer, you will translate real workload behavior into architecture guidance, platform insights, and measurable product improvements for Mobile and Client products. You will own technical workstreams, perform system-level analysis across memory, storage, and platform subsystems, and produce actionable recommendations to improve performance, power, latency, responsiveness, and thermal characteristics.

Collaborate with architecture, engineering, validation, product management, and platform teams; contribute to AI-enabled workload engineering initiatives using Generative and Agentic AI methods.

Responsibilities

The role's primary responsibilities include:

• Lead system-level workload analysis across memory, storage, and platform subsystems.
• Translate workload measurements into architecture and platform guidance and measurable product improvements.
• Define, own, and execute technical workstreams and deliverables independently.
• Quantify and communicate trade-offs for performance, power, latency, responsiveness, and thermal behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert analysis into actionable recommendations and repeatable engineering methods.
• Contribute to AI-enabled transformation initiatives, applying Generative AI and agentic approaches to workload engineering.
