Staff Engineer, Validation

Role Summary

We are looking for a technically strong and proactive Post-Silicon System Validation / Functional Validation Engineer. This role is essential for planning, executing, and debugging system-level validation of IP and SoC/MCU designs, ensuring functional correctness, feature compliance, performance, and robustness of silicon devices.

Experience Level

Mid-level to Senior; 3 to 12 years of experience in post-silicon validation, system validation, or embedded SoC bring-up.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing post-silicon system and functional validation of automotive SoCs/MCUs.
• Owning feature-level validation plans and test strategies.
• Validating boot flows, power/clock/reset, memory subsystems, interconnects, and interfaces.
• Driving system bring-up on evaluation boards and silicon validation setups.
• Developing and maintaining test firmware, diagnostics, automation scripts, and stress tools.
• Performing hands-on silicon debug and root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Analyzing validation data and tracking issues through structured closure.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to validation readiness reports.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

• B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture, ARM cores, and low-power design techniques.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces and standard protocols.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware development and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with lab tools and validation frameworks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

• Experience with AI frameworks for validation.
• Familiarity with automotive technical trends.

Education Requirements

B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
