Staff Engineer, Regional Applications

Role Summary

Customer-facing applications engineer providing technical support to regional customers and field sales for high-performance analog and mixed-signal products and reference designs. Support is delivered by phone, email and in-person engagements.

The role covers component- and system-level consultation, debugging across the customer project lifecycle, creating demos and reference materials, and delivering technical trainings to improve customers' end products.

Experience Level

Senior β€” minimum 7+ years of experience in the semiconductors/electronics industry, preferably in applications engineering or customer support.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to customers and field teams across the project lifecycle.

  • Respond to customer queries via email, phone and in-person meetings.
  • Provide technical consultations to field sales and customers at both component and system levels.
  • Design, debug and troubleshoot customer designs at all project stages.
  • Develop system-level demos and reference designs for target applications.
  • Create technical articles, application notes and training materials.
  • Deliver internal and external technical trainings and workshops.

Requirements

Must-have experience and skills for immediate contribution.

  • 7+ years experience in the semiconductors/electronics industry in applications engineering or customer support roles.
  • Practical knowledge of analogue and mixed-signal electronics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer and cross-functional engagement.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced engineers technically and strategically.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-location international team and complex matrix organisation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (~10%).
  • Continuous commitment to professional development and improving functional skills.

Education Requirements
