Role Summary

The Staff Engineer for Multi-Physics Sign-off will develop and support methodologies for advanced multi-die systems focusing on timing, power, IR/EM, ESD, thermal, CFD/FEM, and multiphysics analysis.

Experience Level

Mid-level (2-5 years of experience preferred).

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and qualifying CAD flows for 3DIC and 2.5D designs.
  • Supporting STA methodologies for cross-die timing.
  • Enabling CFD/FEM-based thermal analysis.
  • Building and maintaining automation tools.
  • Collaborating with various teams to incorporate system-aware considerations.

Requirements

The following skills and experience are required:

  • Strong hands-on experience with 3DIC and/or 2.5D designs.
  • Familiarity with chiplet-based designs.

Nice to have: Experience with TSVs, EDA tools such as Cadence and Synopsys.
