Staff Engineer - HIG HBM PSE
Role Summary
The Staff Engineer in the High-Performance Memory team will be responsible for leading the validation of DRAM and HBM products. This role entails executing validation runs, developing test programs, analyzing power/thermal characteristics, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.
Experience Level
Senior level with a minimum of 8 years of experience in DRAM/HBM/NAND validation or product engineering, including at least 2 years of HBM validation experience.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the position include:
- Lead validation execution in a high-pressure environment with on-schedule starts and efficient material usage.
- Develop and debug test programs while ensuring code quality.
- Perform power/thermal characterization and automate testing processes.
- Lead silicon debug across various engineering regions while driving corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers on validation practices and collaborate with global teams.
Requirements
The essential qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related).
- 8+ years of experience in DRAM/HBM/NAND validation.
- At least 2 years of HBM validation experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and APG (Algorithmic Pattern Generator).
- Experience with MBIST and Advantest testing.
- Strong knowledge of Verilog simulation.
- Advanced skills in scripting and data analytics.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
