Role Summary
Senior verification engineer providing technical leadership for verification of complex analog and mixed-signal designs at Analog Devices in Bangalore. Responsible for architecting verification environments, defining verification strategy, mentoring engineers, and coordinating across design and validation teams.

Senior β recommended 7β10+ years of relevant digital/mixed-signal design verification experience.
Responsibilities
Lead verification engineering activities for complex projects, from strategy through closure and post-silicon support.
- Architect and lead UVM-based verification environments for complex digital and mixed-signal designs.
- Develop comprehensive verification strategies and test plans to achieve coverage-driven closure.
- Lead complex debugging across RTL and gate-level simulations and coordinate fixes with design teams.
- Drive functional and code coverage closure using advanced verification methodologies.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and peers.
- Coordinate cross-functional verification requirements and sign-off criteria with stakeholders.
- Lead post-silicon validation and support to resolve hardware issues.
- Represent the team with customers and partners on technical matters as needed.
Requirements
Core technical skills and practical experience required for immediate contribution.
Must-have:
- Expert-level SystemVerilog and UVM knowledge for verification environment architecture.
- Proven experience creating verification plans and executing coverage-driven methodologies.
- Experience with mixed-signal verification techniques and challenges.
- Advanced debugging skills across multiple design abstractions (RTL, gate-level).
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys) and formal verification techniques.
- Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell).
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to mentor and influence verification methodology adoption.
- Willingness to travel up to ~10%.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with large mixed-signal SoC verification projects or customer-facing technical roles.
Education Requirements
Preferred MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. The posting also specifies 7β10+ years of relevant verification experience.
