Role Summary

Broadcom Central Engineering seeks a multi-skilled RTL and verification engineer with DFT expertise to develop and verify complex memory, I/O subsystems and hierarchical blocks including BIST. The role covers RTL design, synthesis, DFT verification and sign-off across end-to-end chip development.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop and verify RTL for digital subsystems and memory subsystems, including BIST.
• Implement and validate memory BIST using Tessent/embedded MBIST flows.
• Perform MBIST, ATPG, RSQ verification and support DFT sign-off.
• Perform formal verification, cross-clock-domain checks, and power/timing sign-off activities.
• Build verification environments and test suites using OVM/UVM methodologies and verify complex subsystems independently.

Requirements

Essential and preferred skills:

• Must-have: Hands-on RTL development and synthesis experience; strong fundamentals in digital design and coding/verifying complex RTL subsystems.
• Experience defining ICC/synthesis constraints and achieving timing closure.
• Familiarity with DFT flows (MBIST, ATPG, RSQ) and DFT sign-off practices.
• Proficiency with Verilog simulators (Verilog NC, Verilog XL) and GLS/simulation flows.
• Familiarity with tools such as Spyglass, LEC, DC Ultra and Fusion Compiler.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with UVM/OVM verification methodologies.
