Role Summary

Join Micron's ASIC Verification and Emulation group to develop verification environments, methodologies, and flows for complex SoC components. The role focuses on ensuring design quality and schedule delivery through comprehensive verification planning, testbench development, and cross-team debugging.

Experience Level

Senior level. The posting specifies approximately 6–8 years of verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing and executing verification strategies and collaborating across teams to resolve issues.

• Define, develop, debug, and improve design verification environments, methodologies, and flows.
• Develop testbenches, verification plans, test plans, and coverage definitions for IPs, sub-systems, and SoCs.
• Perform RTL debugging, scoreboarding, and code-coverage analysis to identify and close verification gaps.
• Collaborate with architecture, firmware, and design teams to debug and resolve critical design issues.
• Document and track detailed test plans and verification results at all levels.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; listed nice-to-have items separately.

• Must-have: 6–8 years of hands-on design verification experience with deep exposure to verification flows and methodologies.
• Must-have: Strong RTL debugging, scoreboarding, and code-coverage analysis skills.
• Must-have: Proven ability to write and track detailed test plans across IP and SoC levels.
• Must-have: Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with C for verification tasks.
• Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with DDR, PCIe/NVMe, or NAND interfaces.
• Nice-to-have: Exposure to emulation and generative AI tools applied to verification.

Education Requirements
