Staff Engineer - ASIC STA

Role Summary

The Staff Engineer - ASIC STA position is part of a Mixed-Signal ASIC digital team responsible for the front-end implementation of high-speed Mixed Signal IPs and Analog intensive ASICs. This includes synthesis, low power flows, and timing closure, collaborating with design, verification, and product development teams.

Experience Level

Senior level position with a requirement of 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Implement front-end flows for high-speed Mixed Signal ASICs.
• Ensure quality delivery for synthesis and timing closure.
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
• Develop custom flows to meet design requirements.

Requirements

Key requirements for this role are:

• Extensive experience in synthesis, LEC, low power flows, and timing closure.
• Ability to quickly understand and handle complex mixed signal designs.
• Debug experience and scripting skills.
• Working knowledge of low power design with multiple power domains.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• M.S./M.Tech or BS/BE in Electronics.
