Role Summary

Senior technical role in the Applications Engineering team focused on Design-for-Testability (DFT). The role supports customers in Israel, providing technical guidance, solution implementation, and feedback to product and engineering teams.

Experience Level

Senior - Staff-level. Typically appropriate for candidates with substantial hands-on DFT/ASIC experience (guidance: 7+ years).

Responsibilities

Provide technical customer-facing support and drive DFT solutions.

• Deliver technical assistance to customers on DFT methodology, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and validate DFT flows, test strategies, and automation scripts.
• Work with product and engineering teams to escalate issues, provide feature feedback, and shape product requirements.
• Create technical collateral: examples, tutorials, and internal documentation for DFT workflows.
• Perform root-cause analysis of silicon/RTL issues related to testability and guide corrective actions.
• Train customers and internal teams on DFT tools and best practices.

Requirements

Core technical skills and customer-facing experience required; preferred skills noted separately.

• Must-have: Proven experience with DFT concepts (scan insertion, ATPG, test compression) and ASIC/RTL design flows.
• Must-have: Strong scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, Tcl) and hands-on debugging of RTL/test failures.
• Must-have: Experience working directly with customers or partners to deliver technical solutions.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with commercial DFT/ATPG tool flows and debug tools.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience integrating DFT flows into signoff and manufacturing test processes.
