Staff Design Verification Engineer

The Staff Design Verification Engineer will be responsible for planning and strategizing design verification for blocks and full-chip, creating verification plans, and employing UVM-based verification methodologies. The role requires collaboration with design and engineering teams to support post-silicon verification activities and to mentor junior engineers.
Experience Level
Mid-level, with 8 to 12 years of experience in digital SoC verification.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Planning and strategizing verification of designs.
- Creating verification plans for blocks and full chip.
- Verifying blocks using SystemVerilog and UVM, including netlist simulation.
- Employing verification methodologies including formal verification and functional coverage.
- Developing or enhancing verification methodologies.
- Supporting post-silicon verification activities.
- Mentoring junior engineers in DV goals.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, C, Perl, and Python.
- Experience with test plan development and building verification environments.
- Knowledge in formal verification techniques.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers is highly desirable.
Education Requirements
B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
