Staff Design Implementation Engineer
Role Summary
The Staff Design Implementation Engineer will be responsible for RTL implementation, integration, and sign-off quality delivery of Automotive MCUs. This role involves participation in the full front-end design flow and collaboration with verification, DFT, and backend teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level (5-7+ years of experience preferred)
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Implementing MCU IPs or subsystems from architecture and specifications.
- Executing logic synthesis and timing closure.
- Running readiness checks and design reviews.
- Collaborating with various engineering teams.
- Mentoring junior engineers and improving methodologies.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experiences:
- 5-7+ years in MCU/SoC front-end design.
- Strong knowledge of RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Experience with timing closure and low-power design techniques.
- Familiarity with functional safety concepts (ISO 26262 is a plus).
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Experience owning IP from specification to silicon.
- Knowledge of DFT concepts.
- Scripting skills for flow automation.
- Experience in global development teams.
