Role Summary
Technical contributor on a digital design team building highly integrated mixed-signal SoCs for low-power MCU and wireless products. Responsible for block-level RTL design, SoC integration, verification, and supporting documentation.
Experience Level
Senior β typically requires about 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Design, integrate, verify, and document digital IP and SoC infrastructure.
- Define block architecture and specifications; partition and select design approach.
- Implement RTL for digital blocks following quality guidelines.
- Integrate digital blocks, memory interfaces, bus matrix, clocking, power and reset management into SoC infrastructure.
- Integrate mixed-signal and RF IP and support mixed-signal modeling and co-simulation.
- Perform block-level and SoC-level verification using directed, random, and assertion-based methods.
- Develop embedded firmware to exercise SoC integration and validation scenarios.
- Produce requirement, architecture, design, verification reviews and customer-facing documentation such as reference manuals and datasheets.
Requirements
Key must-have skills and experience for the role.
- Approximately 5+ years of industry experience in digital/SoC design and verification.
- Practical RTL coding experience and familiarity with digital design flows and quality practices.
- Experience with AMBA or other bus protocols and memory/clocking/power interface design.
- Experience in block-level and SoC integration and verification; assertion-based verification and randomized test techniques.
- Experience integrating mixed-signal and RF IP, including mixed-signal modeling and co-simulation.
- Ability to develop embedded firmware for validation and bring-up.
- Familiarity with communication peripheral design and verification.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and analysis is expected.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a related technical field.
