Staff Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and validate 1–3 GHz multi-mode, multi-band RF front-end modules, covering circuit design, simulation, layout, lab validation, data analysis and documentation. Work with cross-functional system and product teams to deliver designs that meet defined specifications.
Experience Level
Senior — at least eight (8) years of relevant RF design experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for the full design cycle of RF front-end products and for delivering validated, documented designs.
- Collaborate with system engineers to define architecture and specifications.
- Perform circuit design, simulation and layout to meet product requirements.
- Characterize, verify and debug designs using lab measurements.
- Follow and reinforce design reviews, best practices and product line processes.
- Produce design release notes and documentation for product characterization.
Requirements
Key technical skills and experience required and preferred.

Must-have:
- Proven experience with low-noise, low-power, high-linearity RF design.
- Experience using HFSS, ADS and FEM 3D simulation tools; ADS for simulation and layout.
- Proficiency operating test equipment (Noise Figure Meter, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer) and executing Gain/NF/IIP3/Isolation measurements and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter and team player.
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-have:
- Direct Tx or Rx design experience and familiarity with 4G/5G mobile standards/specifications.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent required; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred.
