Staff Debug and DevOps Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Debug & DevOps team to build and operate infrastructure that supports engineering across Tenstorrent's hardware and software stack. The team focuses on observability, CI/CD, automation, and cross-discipline debugging to improve development velocity and platform reliability.

This role is hybrid, based in Belgrade, Serbia, and partners with software, firmware, silicon, validation, and infrastructure teams.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Candidates will be evaluated during interviews and offers will align with the assessed level.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include operating and improving engineering infrastructure, automating workflows, and diagnosing complex issues across systems.

• Investigate and resolve complex issues impacting development, validation, and production environments across hardware and software.
• Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure, automation frameworks, deployment pipelines, and engineering workflows.
• Design and enhance monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting systems to improve operational visibility and reliability.
• Partner with software, firmware, silicon, validation, and infrastructure teams to diagnose issues across multiple layers of the stack.
• Drive long-term reliability improvements by automating operational tasks and implementing preventative solutions for recurring issues.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure, Production Engineering, or Software Engineering within complex distributed environments.
• Strong Linux systems expertise; experience troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, operating systems, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed applications.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Go, or similar) and familiarity with modern CI/CD and infrastructure tooling.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis and deliver scalable, automated solutions.
• Willingness to work hybrid, based in Belgrade, Serbia.
• Employment contingent on eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology where applicable.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience debugging across firmware, silicon, hardware platforms, or validation pipelines.
• Familiarity with RISC-V or accelerator/hardware platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms, container orchestration, and distributed systems at scale.
