Work cross-functionally with Design, Platform, and Hardware Infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready test flows and cost-efficient test strategies.

Experience Level

Senior — typical experience: 7+ years in semiconductor test, product engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and debug ATE test patterns, flows, and firmware for development and production.
  • Perform post-silicon characterization, performance optimization, and device marginality analysis.
  • Design, validate, and troubleshoot ATE hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and HWI teams to define test infrastructure and product specifications.
  • Collect and analyze test data to drive engineering decisions and root-cause analysis.
  • Optimize yield, test cost, and overall product cost structure.
  • Develop load boards, probe cards, and other test fixtures as required.
  • Mentor team members and develop scalable automation and standardization across product lines.

Requirements

Required skills and constraints; preferred items listed separately.

  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging ATE test content and flows.
  • Post-silicon characterization and silicon debug experience for SoC or microprocessor products.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows environments and common development tools (Git, VS Code, Bash).
  • Practical scripting experience (Python or similar) for test automation and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and data presentation skills.
  • Role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred / nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Advantest V93K (SMT8) and test pattern conversion tools.
  • Knowledge of SCAN, BIST, functional ATE test pattern debug, and probe card or load board development.
  • Background in GPU or x86 architecture and silicon performance optimization (power, frequency, performance management).
  • Practical experience applying AI/ML for continuous improvement and related tooling.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
