Role Summary

Provide technical support and design guidance to customers using RF and microwave semiconductor products. Act as the primary technical interface to resolve design issues and recommend product solutions.

Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Production, Distribution and Marketing to deliver customer-facing technical support, testing, and documentation.

Experience Level

Senior / Professional — requires 8+ years of relevant experience in RF design, test, or customer-facing engineering roles.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers via phone, email, web chat, and occasional on-site visits.
• Respond to technical inquiries, diagnose customer design issues, and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
• Exercise business judgment to determine additional support or escalation when required.
• Provide test support and perform customer-requested special testing.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Production, Distribution and Marketing to resolve issues.
• Deliver clear written and verbal communications and presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience with RF components and microwave semiconductors (power amplifiers, LNAs, phase shifters, switches, filters).
• Experience in customer-facing roles in sales or technical support.
• Experience in software development; Python preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve customer design issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong presentation skills.
• Professional, supportive attitude and sound business judgment.

Education Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate degree in Engineering with an emphasis in RF. The role specifies 8 or more years of experience in RF design and/or test or as a sales engineer in the RF space.
