Staff Analog Mixed-Signal Design - Optical

Role Summary

Marvell's Broadband Analog group designs physical layer ICs for high-speed optical fiber data communication. The candidate will handle design and validation of FET and BiCMOS circuits for high-speed broadband ICs.

Experience Level

Mid-Career with 1+ to 5 years of industry experience depending on degree held.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Active-circuit design.
  • Designing leading edge transimpedance amplifiers.
  • Developing transmission line structures for enhanced performance.
  • Designing high-performance broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers.
  • Working with other teams for post-silicon validation and support.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience include:

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in high-performance receiver design.
  • Proficiency in EDA CAD tools and Analog Custom Layout.
  • Strong foundation in transistor level design and device physics.
  • Project experience in analog circuits.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (3-5 years experience) or Master’s/PhD with 1+ years experience in RF/Analog design.
