Job Title
Staff Analog Design Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Instrumentation Group as a Staff Analog IC Design Engineer based in Istanbul, Turkey. You will design transistor-level analog/mixed-signal circuits and support product development from feasibility and specification through layout, lab evaluation, and production release.
Experience Level
Senior β the role expects experienced engineers; the posting references 8+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC design experience as guidance.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include technical design leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Design and simulate transistor-level integrated circuits and analog blocks (high-voltage amplifiers, class-AB drivers, comparators, LDOs).
- Develop circuit solutions that meet requirements for high voltage/current reliability, high resolution, accuracy, low power, and high speed.
- Perform block-level feasibility studies and define specifications for new products.
- Adapt and reuse existing designs to meet new performance targets.
- Oversee and support analog layout activities and coordinate with layout engineers.
- Assist with lab evaluation, testing, and validation to ensure successful product delivery.
- Present technical findings and progress to internal engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Mentor and train team members on architecture and design improvements.
- Collaborate with global, cross-discipline engineering teams.
- Travel as required (~10% of the time).
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.
- 8+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design (preferred experience level).
- Strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal electronics, design tools, and workflows.
- Proven experience designing amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, and switching power supplies.
- Demonstrated ability to take ICs from concept through design, layout, evaluation, and production release.
- Strong system-level understanding of analog/mixed-signal products and ability to propose new architectures.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with high-current/high-voltage circuit design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to manage tasks under tight schedules and work effectively in global teams.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electronic Engineering; equivalent practical experience will be considered. (The source specifies BS or MS in Electronic Engineering in its minimum qualifications.)
