STA and Timing Characterization Specialist

Role Summary

The STA and Timing Characterization Specialist will work closely with circuit design and layout teams to drive timing generation and validation. This role focuses on performing static timing analysis, ensuring robust timing constraints, and debugging timing violations.

Experience Level

Mid-level; 4-8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Driving DDR, HBM, and UCIE timing generation and validation.
• Performing static timing analysis and timing characterization.
• Debugging and resolving timing violations at circuit and system levels.
• Utilizing SiliconSmart and NanoTime to automate workflows.
• Collaborating with internal teams to communicate findings and implement solutions.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

Key requirements are:

• BTech/MTech degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in STA, timing characterization, and analog design.
• Strong proficiency in transistor-level design simulation.
• Experience with SiliconSmart, NanoTime, and scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL).
• Solid understanding of timing constraints and violation debugging.

Education Requirements

BTech or MTech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
