Job Title

SSP - VER Digital Twin Intern

Role Summary

Internship position within the Verification Consulting team focused on integrating open-source interconnects and peripheral IP into Hycon and validating access from software running inside the environment. The role combines RTL/Verilog work, peripheral integration, and embedded software development.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship.

Responsibilities

Work on a defined project with mentorship; deliver a working connection between an interconnect and Hycon and demonstrate access to an IP from software inside Hycon.

  • Select an open-source interconnect and implement its connection to Hycon.
  • Analyze how the interconnect is programmed and supported; evaluate design options.
  • Select or create an IP (example: NVDLA or a simple ALU) and enable access to it from software running inside Hycon.
  • Develop and run tests to validate integration and communication between SW and the peripheral IP.
  • Document implementation and present results to the team.

Requirements

Core technical skills and teamwork abilities required for the project work.

  • Must-have: Verilog RTL development experience.
  • Must-have: Experience using tools to debug waveforms.
  • Must-have: C/C++ experience to write software that controls peripheral IP.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with AMBA protocols (AXI/CHI).

Education Requirements

3rd- or 4th-year university student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
