SRAM Design Sr Engineer

Role Summary

Design, verify and qualify SRAM IP and compilers with focus on timing, power, reliability and scalability. Work in a cross-functional team to develop bitcells, compiler tiling, characterization flows and post-silicon debug for high-performance memory products.

Position is based in Hsinchu and supports delivery of SRAM IP used in production silicon.

Experience Level

Senior. The posting lists 0–3+ years of hands-on SRAM circuit design experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Design and verify SRAM integrated circuits to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Develop SRAM compilers, including GDS and netlist tiling for performance and scalability.
• Characterize SRAM timing, power, and other critical metrics to meet product requirements.
• Execute compiler quality assurance and verification processes.
• Perform SRAM bitcell analysis and define design criteria for memory products.
• Use EDA tools (XA, HSPICE, Verilog, Starrc, EMIR) for simulation, verification and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on post-silicon debug and implement improvements.
• Integrate SP/2P/ROM variety designs into SRAM IP solutions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; nice-to-have items noted separately.

• Must-have: 0–3+ years of hands-on SRAM circuit design experience.
• Understanding of CMOS block-level circuit design and SRAM architectures.
• Experience with SP/2P/ROM variety design and SRAM bitcell analysis.
• Proficiency in digital circuit design and VLSI process concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting languages: Python, Tcl/Tk, Perl, Unix shell.
• Experience with EDA tools for simulation and design: XA, HSPICE, Verilog, Starrc, EMIR.
• Nice-to-have: Post-silicon debug experience.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
