Role Summary

The Sr. Integrated Circuit (IC) Verification Engineer develops and implements verification plans for mixed-signal integrated circuit blocks and systems, collaborating with system, digital & physical design, embedded firmware, and cross-functional teams. This role includes technical leadership and support through pre-silicon and silicon validation.

Experience Level

Senior; 8+ years of industry experience in integrated circuit design verification.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and optimize verification plans for digital/mixed-signal IP blocks and integrated circuits.
  • Implement complex testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM methodology, and debug simulation failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior verification engineers.
  • Adopt advanced verification methodologies and support silicon lab evaluation.
  • Provide technical support to product and application engineers.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in digital IC verification for mixed-signal ICs.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM, along with experience with standard hardware protocols.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and communication skills.
