Sr Test Engineer

Job Title

Sr Test Engineer (experienced in either 93K, DMDx, ACO8300, or UltraFLEX and Full NPI Lifecycle and English Proficiency)

Role Summary

The Sr Test Engineer will lead test engineering initiatives at the Hukou location. This role involves developing ATE test programs, implementing DfT strategies, and providing technical mentorship for the team.

Experience Level

Senior level with over 5 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor test development.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and architecting cost-effective and high-efficiency test solutions for Gate drivers, Power Stages, and Isolators products.
• Leading design reviews of complex high-performance test interface hardware and solving signal integrity and thermal challenges.
• Driving test builds for NPI projects from concept to release and engaging in DfT discussions with IC Design teams.
• Driving yield improvement through statistical data analysis and executing Test Time Reduction strategies.
• Acting as a technical focal point for collaboration with international teams.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test development.
• Expertise in 93K, DMDx, ACO8300, or UltraFLEX ATE platforms.
• Functional verbal communication skills in English.
• Mastery of C/C++ and VB programming.
• Strong statistical data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with GaN or high-voltage power device testing.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Knowledge of DfT techniques.
• Experience in scripting with Python or Perl for automation.
• Proficiency in PCB design reviews for high-speed applications.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
