Role Summary

Work on production test development and deployment for RF front-end products during NPI and high-volume manufacturing. The role focuses on test program development, test-time reduction, and troubleshooting to ensure production throughput and product quality.

Responsibilities

Deliver and support test solutions used in factory production and application labs.

• Develop, enhance and maintain production test source code; optimize and reduce test time.
• Troubleshoot test solutions during NPI and HVM to support smooth production in internal and external factories.
• Work with product and application engineering to deploy test solutions with adequate test coverage per test plan and datasheet.
• Collaborate with site engineering to address productivity or quality issues (long setup time, in-line failures, etc.).
• Identify and implement test-time reduction and productivity improvement opportunities; support capacity-up scenarios.
• Support customer complaint and quality investigations via test data analysis and monitoring (e.g., soft bin triggers).

Requirements

Must-have:

• Semiconductor industry experience in EF/test engineering, product engineering, design, or applications (specific years stated in posting moved to Experience Level).
• Solid understanding of RF communication systems and RF front-end component technologies.
• Experience with test equipment such as ATE RF testers, handlers, probers and lab bench tools.
• Willingness to travel within APAC and work extra hours as required.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and presentation preparation.

Nice-to-have / differentiators:

• Experience in RF measurement and standards (5G, WiFi‑6, LTE).
• RF test development on modular or instrument-based rack systems.
• Experience with Cohu LTX environments (LTX‑PAX, LTX‑DiamondX) for test program debug/maintenance/optimization.
• Hands-on with network analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF simulation and debugging tools.
• Programming skills: C++, C#, Java, VB.net, JMP scripting.
• Exposure to RF schematic design and layout.
