Sr. Test Engineer
QorvoRole Summary
The Senior Test Engineer develops automated RF and mixed-signal production test solutions, including hardware and software. This role supports the launch of test solutions into high volume production, as well as the improvement of existing solutions.
Experience Level
Professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience; 7+ years preferred.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Reviews product test specifications and test equipment specifications.
- Designs and debugs final test solutions for semiconductor products, primarily WiFi.
- Correlates ATE results to lab bench results.
- Generates and troubleshoots test software on production ATE (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne, Cohu, NI).
- Advises layout technicians on design and fabrication of production test PCBs.
- Provides test software and hardware support to meet customer sampling requirements.
- Reviews and submits production documentation and hardware for product release and test solution handoff.
- Supports Lean and Continuous Improvement activities within the Test Development team.
- Works closely with other Test Engineers and collaborates with Product, Design, Quality, and Characterization Engineers.
- Engages regularly with the project team to track progress and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- 5 years of experience in ATE test program development for semiconductor devices or RF test development.
- Experience with RF semiconductor devices (chips).
- Understanding of RF test concepts like modulation and power servo.
- Strong knowledge of coding in C++ and C#.
- Solid understanding of circuits and RF fundamentals.
