Sr Staff Test Engineer

Role Summary

The role involves driving test strategy for achieving optimal test coverage and quality, while minimizing test costs. This position serves as a technical leader, collaborating with design, systems, and test engineering teams to develop Design for Test (DFT) strategies and tools.

Experience Level

Mid-level experience of 5 to 12 years in relevant fields is required.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing verification test benches.
• Understanding and utilizing ATE instruments.
• Conducting simulation using Cadence Specter and other tools.
• Implementing DFT strategies on ATE.
• Planning and organizing tasks effectively for execution.
• Collecting and presenting technical information as necessary.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• Strong ATE programming skills and design validation experience.
• Proficiency in Unix environments and Spice Simulation.
• Expertise in HDL and System Verilog.
• Experience with tools such as Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer.
• BSEE degree or professional equivalent.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or higher is required.
