Sr Staff Project/Program Mgmt Specialist
Role Summary
Lead and manage development programs for new industrial and automotive semiconductor products from concept through tape-out and start of production. Act as program manager for cross-functional teams including design, test, validation, product engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 10–15 years in the semiconductor domain with 5+ years of hands-on technical program/project management experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning, execution, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to meet program objectives.
- Manage development and delivery of new products (industrial and automotive) from inception to production release.
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track progress and report status to stakeholders and senior management.
- Drive cross-functional teams (design, test, validation, product engineering, operations, planning, factories, vendors) to meet milestones.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects or large singular programs.
- Identify, assess and mitigate program risks; develop contingency plans and escalate when needed to prevent issues.
- Promote process improvements, share best practices across teams, and support standard program management methodologies and tools.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics related to schedule, budget, and quality; enforce a first-time-right execution mindset.
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and skills for effective program management in a semiconductor environment.

Must-have: 10–15 years in the semiconductor industry with 5+ years leading cross-functional program/project teams for mixed-signal analog or similar products.

Must-have: Hands-on involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development from concept to production release; 3+ years participating in product-line NPI teams (design, product, test, validation, applications, quality or similar).

Must-have: Experience managing schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications under tight timelines and competing priorities.

Must-have: Strong communication, presentation, leadership skills, and ability to summarize technical status for executives.

Must-have: Proficiency with project-management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Microsoft OneNote.

Nice-to-have: Familiarity with APQP automotive process and backend semiconductor processes (wafer fabrication, bump, packaging, assembly, test).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required; Master’s in Electrical Engineering preferred. PMP certification is optional/advantageous. (No alternative degree-equivalent language stated.)
