Sr Staff Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Senior verification engineer responsible for planning and executing verification for mixed-signal / analog-mixed-signal (AMS) ASIC designs. The role sits in the ASIC Digital Design / Hardware Engineering organization in Hyderabad and collaborates with design, analog, and validation teams to deliver silicon-quality verification environments and results.
Experience Level
Senior - typically 7+ years of relevant mixed-signal ASIC verification or equivalent industry experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for verification strategy, testbench development, and cross-team coordination for mixed-signal blocks.
- Define and implement verification plans and coverage goals for AMS blocks.
- Develop and maintain testbenches using SystemVerilog/UVM and AMS verification methodologies.
- Create and run mixed-signal simulations; automate regression and analysis flows.
- Debug complex analog/digital interactions and root-cause issues across simulations and silicon bring-up.
- Integrate verification IP, behavioral models, and test stimulus for system-level validation.
- Collaborate with designers and layout engineers to close verification gaps and support tapeout readiness.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; drive best practices and reusable verification assets.

- Must-have: Significant hands-on experience in mixed-signal/AMS verification and verification planning.
- Must-have: Proficiency with SystemVerilog and UVM; experience using industry simulation tools for mixed-signal verification.
- Must-have: Strong scripting skills (Python, TCL, or similar) to automate regressions and analysis.
- Must-have: Proven debugging skills for analog/digital interactions and experience supporting silicon bring-up.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with SPICE/AMS simulators, behavioral modeling, formal or low-power verification techniques.
- Nice-to-have: Prior work with EDA vendor tools and flows used for ASIC mixed-signal verification.
- Onsite presence required in Hyderabad, India.
