Sr Staff Engineer, Analog IC Design

Role Summary

The Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer will join the Optical PHY team, which designs high-speed and optical transceivers. This role involves the design and verification of CMOS transceiver/SERDES products, including critical circuits to meet performance targets.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring 3+ years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and verification of mixed-signal circuits such as PLL, DLL, ADC, amplifiers, regulators, and CDRs.
  • Performing design verification using industry-standard tools, including Spectre and MATLAB.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Hands-on experience in designing mixed-signal circuits (ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs).
  • Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Experience with low power and high-speed design techniques.
  • Familiarity with IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, and MATLAB.
  • Lab testing skills to evaluate prototypes against design specifications.
  • Completed a BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering.

Education Requirements

BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering is required.
