Sr. Staff Digital Engineer

Role Summary

The Sr. Staff Digital Engineer will be responsible for defining, developing, verifying, and optimizing complex digital circuits for low-power mixed-signal circuits. This role requires collaboration with system design teams and technical support across various engineering functions.

Experience Level

Senior level, requiring 10+ years of industry experience in digital integrated circuit design.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Define, develop, verify, and optimize digital circuits for low-power mixed-signal applications.
• Design digital hardware functions in RTL code using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
• Ensure design for testability across digital hardware.
• Generate technical documentation and lead design reviews.
• Perform logic synthesis and oversee physical design processes.
• Develop verification plans and testbenches.
• Support silicon lab evaluation and debugging processes.
• Interface with cross-functional teams for comprehensive support.
• Provide technical support to test, product, and application engineers.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

• 10+ years of industry experience in digital IC design.
• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of digital IC development and mixed-signal ICs.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL, and digital EDA tools (Synopsys, Cadence).
• Knowledge of verification methodologies and hardware protocols (I2C, SPI).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with MCU-based hardware systems.

Education Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
