Role Summary

The Sr./Staff Design Engineer (ACDC) will focus on designing analog and mixed-signal ICs for power management products, specializing in AC-DC and lighting applications. This role involves participating in the entire product development cycle and working on circuit synthesis and layout supervision.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor and/or analog circuit design.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Design of analog/mixed-signal power management ICs and circuit synthesis from the transistor level to system level.
• Engagement in the product development cycle from definition to release.
• Utilization of SIMPLIS for behavioral modeling.
• Assisting in ATE development with Design-For-Test methods.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• PhD/MSEE with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor and/or analog circuit design.
• Experience with DC/DC or AC/DC converter design.
• Basic knowledge of common AC-DC converters like PFC, LLC, Flyback, Buck, and LED drivers.
• Experience with high voltage process and product design.
• Experience with mixed-signal design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements

PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
