Develop behavioral models and verification flows for analog and mixed-signal circuits within the Optical PHY team, supporting high-speed optical transceivers. Work focuses on model creation, verification sequence development, AMS simulation, and supporting model bring-up and integration with other design teams in Marvell's San Diego organization.

Contribute to product readiness and design quality for high-speed/optical PHY solutions.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop Verilog/SystemVerilog behavioral models for analog circuits.
  • Create verification sequences and testbenches to validate analog circuit behaviors.
  • Perform analog/mixed-signal (AMS) simulations to verify leaf-cell and mixed-signal functionality.
  • Support model users during model bring-up and integration into system flows.
  • Collaborate with analog, digital, and verification teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

Requirements

Key technical must-haves and preferred skills:

  • Strong understanding of CMOS analog circuit design. (must-have)
  • Experience writing Verilog/SystemVerilog models of analog functional behavior. (must-have)
  • Hands-on experience with Cadence tools and EDA flows for analog/mixed-signal design (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso). (must-have)
  • Practical scripting skills such as Python for automation and testbench development. (must-have)
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple design teams. (must-have)
  • Ability to satisfy export-control eligibility requirements where applicable. (must-have)
