Senior DFX Infrastructure Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior DFX Infrastructure Engineer will join NVIDIA's DFX group to design, build, and maintain scalable internal tools and workflows that support ATE test vector release, fail analysis/diagnosis, and silicon bringup. The role works closely with DFT, ATE bringup, and FA teams to ensure successful silicon bringup and reliable test flows.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on developing and maintaining infrastructure and automation for ATE and silicon bringup flows.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy internal infrastructure tools for ATE test vector release and fail analysis/diagnosis workflows.
  • Integrate new features into existing tools and maintain regression testcases to ensure flow robustness.
  • Support silicon bringup and FA teams during bringup to resolve failures and ensure successful validation.
  • Debug and fix issues in the internal codebase; check in and deploy fixes to production flows.
  • Collaborate with DFT, ATE bringup, and FA teams to define requirements and improve tool reliability and quality.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience required to perform the role; followed by preferred items.

  • Must-have: 10+ years of relevant experience in DFT/ATE or similar roles.
  • Must-have: In-depth ATE knowledge; experience with Advantest 93k is strongly desired and Teradyne Ultraflex is preferred.
  • Must-have: Strong scripting skills in Perl and Python; proven track record producing original scripts and code.
  • Must-have: Ability to debug existing codebases and independently deliver robust tools and fixes.
  • Must-have: Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
  • Nice-to-have: C++ knowledge.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with SSN scan architecture and diagnostics flow; experience using AI assistant tools.

Education Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field where coding and computer usage are required, or equivalent practical experience.
