Sr. Staff Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Senior analog/mixed-signal IC design engineer on Marvell's Broadband Analog team responsible for designing and validating high-speed optical and electrical receiver and transmitter front-end circuits for data center and telecom applications.

Responsibilities
Design and validation tasks and cross-team activities for high-speed analog ICs.
- Design high-performance broadband analog and mixed-signal circuits for electrical and optical RX/TX front ends.
- Design other analog blocks such as linear regulators, AGC loops, current/voltage sensors, and bandgaps.
- Perform circuit-level simulation, participate in tapeout, and support post-silicon lab evaluation and debugging.
- Work with systems, layout, test, manufacturing, and customer teams to qualify designs and transition to mass production.
- Document design rationale, present results, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Requirements

- Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing CMOS broadband analog circuits (RX/TX front ends, input/output matching, TIAs, drivers).
- Proven experience with chip tapeout processes and laboratory evaluation of high-performance transmitters or receivers.
- Proficiency with IC design and simulation tools such as Cadence Spectre, Keysight ADS, and MATLAB.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Experience with silicon photonics, VCSELs, EAMs, MZMs, FinFET CMOS or BiCMOS is advantageous.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's (BSc) in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years' experience, or Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years' experience, as stated in the source.
