Job Title
Sr Staff Analog Engineer
Role Summary
Lead design and delivery of CMOS power-management IP blocks from feasibility through lab evaluation and production ramp. Provide technical leadership, drive design methodology improvements, and coordinate with applications, test, and cross-functional teams.
Experience Level
Senior-level role; typically requires 8β15 years of relevant analog/power-management IC design experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpret requirements and define system and design strategy for power-management products.
- Lead design, simulation, and layout supervision of CMOS power-management circuits to meet performance, area, power, and schedule constraints.
- Own complex block designs, delegate tasks, review work, and perform feasibility studies for new circuits.
- Plan and lead lab evaluation in collaboration with Applications Engineers and partner with Test to enable production ramp.
- Support DFT strategy, top-level simulation and verification planning, and produce high-quality IP documentation.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and maintain customer-facing relationships as part of project teams.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and attributes:
- 8β15 years' relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal or power-management IC design.
- Proven technical leadership delivering complex analog/power blocks into production.
- Hands-on experience with CMOS power-management circuit design, simulation, and layout supervision.
- Experience with lab evaluation, verification planning, and collaboration with test and applications teams.
- Strong problem-solving, concise communication, presentation skills, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to mentor junior team members, work independently and in teams, and travel internationally on occasion.
