Design and develop systems-level software and infrastructure to enable high-performance AI and enterprise workloads on AMD CPU and GPU platforms. Work includes performance optimization, benchmarking, debugging, and integration with GPU runtimes and orchestration technologies.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Research, design, implement, and validate systems-level software for GPU and CPU platforms.
  • Develop and integrate software and frameworks for AI infrastructure, inference platforms, and distributed computing.
  • Integrate with ROCm-based GPU platforms, container runtimes, and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Optimize, benchmark, and tune enterprise workloads (databases, big data analytics, webservers); produce tuning guides and best practices.
  • Analyze processor performance, determine hardware compatibility, and influence hardware/SKU decisions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug systems software across Linux, macOS, or Unix environments.
  • Participate in open source development and collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver production solutions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Proficient in C, C++, or Python.
  • Experience with CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture.
  • Experience in code optimization using GPU or software performance analysis.
  • Software debugging experience on Linux, macOS, or Unix.
  • Open source software development experience.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and object-oriented design.
  • Familiarity with Git.
