Role Summary

Own the developer platform experience for Tenstorrent: firmware, system software, packaging, installation, updates, and the unified CLI. Partner with engineering, DevRel, and the open-source community to deliver a single, reliable product interface for all workflows from bring-up to production model serving.

Work remotely within North America and coordinate across hubs in Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; and Toronto, ON.

Experience Level

Senior. The company may assess and place candidates at different levels during the interview process.

Responsibilities

You will define and drive a coherent platform product that simplifies developer workflows and increases CLI adoption.

  • Define roadmap and product requirements for firmware, system software, packaging, installers, updates, and the unified CLI.
  • Own CLI product lifecycle: command surface, installation/packaging, versioning, deprecation policy, and telemetry.
  • Set success metrics (e.g., developer NPS, CLI adoption) and deliver iterative improvements against them.
  • Work closely with engineering, DevRel, and customers to remove developer blockers and prioritize fixes and features.
  • Collaborate publicly with the open-source community and internal teams to align on interfaces and expectations.
  • Ship pragmatic solutions under ambiguity; validate via dogfooding and developer feedback.

Requirements

Must-have skills and conditions.

  • Proven product management experience owning platform-level developer tooling or system software products.
  • Technical fluency with firmware, drivers, runtimes, packaging, or installer systems; able to read repositories and discuss implementation tradeoffs with engineers.
  • Experience defining CLI or SDK interfaces, versioning and deprecation policies, and telemetry for adoption metrics.
  • Developer-focused mindset: strong opinions on UX for installers, error messages, and updates; practices dogfooding.
  • Track record of driving cross-functional alignment and shipping iterative improvements with clear success metrics.
  • Ability to work openly with an external open-source community and incorporate external contributions and feedback.
  • Must be located in North America (role is remote within North America).
  • Employment contingent on eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology (citizenship/permanent residency or ability to obtain required license).

Nice-to-have: prior experience in AI infrastructure, RISC-V or similar hardware/software co-design environments.

Education Requirements

Not specified.
