Role Summary

The Sr. Product Development Engineer designs, verifies, and validates semiconductor products and ASICs across the product development lifecycle. This role defines architecture and module interfaces, develops test infrastructure and validation plans, debugs complex issues, and drives product improvements across cross-functional teams. Senior — requires one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering or product development role.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Research, design, develop, and test electronic components, subsystems, and ASICs for semiconductor products.
• Define architecture, logic design, module interfaces, and simulation formats.
• Develop and execute verification and validation plans for semiconductor products.
• Create test program infrastructure using best-known methods and automation.
• Collaborate with design, validation, architecture, and cross-functional teams on coverage, test patterns, validation, and debugging.
• Identify and lead product improvement activities to reduce cost, improve yield, and resolve quality issues.
• Drive technically important projects and exercise independent judgment on methods and evaluation criteria.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Experience performing hardware and software verification for semiconductor products.
• Experience developing validation plans and participating in product development cycles for semiconductor products.
• Familiarity with CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture.
• Scripting/programming experience in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with embedded drive development.
• Experience using Tableau.
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant engineering or product development experience.

Education Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.
