Role Summary

Lead NAND product strategy and architecture for client SSD and storage solutions. Work with product management, system architecture, engineering, marketing, operations, OEMs, and ecosystem partners to define technology roadmaps and product requirements.

Location preferred: Boise, ID.

Responsibilities

Translate market needs and technical capabilities into NAND product plans and roadmaps; coordinate across teams to deliver differentiated storage solutions.

  • Define NAND architecture, technology-node, and storage-solution strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Develop storage product requirements covering performance, reliability, power, packaging, cost, and system-level capabilities.
  • Lead roadmap planning from concept through product lifecycle using market trends, customer insights, and AI-workload requirements.
  • Own NAND Storage Marketing Requirements Documents and support technical requirements development.
  • Evaluate industry trends, competitor roadmaps, architectures, and emerging technologies to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Engage OEMs, chipset vendors, standards organizations, and ecosystem partners to align on future storage needs.
  • Use AI-assisted tools and data analytics to improve planning, research, reporting, and decision-making.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications.

  • Must-have: 10+ years combined experience in semiconductor engineering, product management, product definition, system architecture, NAND technology, SSDs, or mobile storage products.
  • Must-have: Solid understanding of NAND flash architecture, storage systems, memory subsystems, and semiconductor technologies.
  • Must-have: Experience defining product requirements, technology roadmaps, and system-level product strategies.
  • Must-have: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, communicate recommendations, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience working with OEMs, platform vendors, ecosystem partners, or standards organizations.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with product lifecycle tools such as Jama or Teamcenter.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience using AI-assisted tools, generative AI, data analytics, or workflow automation to support product planning and strategy.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Preferred: Masters degree in a technical field or an MBA.
