Sr. Manager Formal Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Lead and grow a team of formal verification engineers responsible for formal signoff and verification of critical IP used across AMD products. Drive methodology, execution, and cross-team collaboration to meet verification commitments and improve verification quality.
Work is focused on delivering scalable formal verification practices and execution for complex chip designs.

Responsibilities
The role combines technical leadership, team management, and delivery ownership for formal verification across multiple IP projects.
- Lead and develop a high-performance Formal Verification team (20+ engineers).
- Define, improve, and drive methodology for full formal signoff.
- Plan, execute, and deliver verification commitments for critical IP used across products.
- Mentor and coach engineers across a range of seniority levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (design, verification, architecture) to align goals and schedules.
- Promote automation and process improvements to increase team efficiency.
- Communicate technical status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
Requirements
