Role Summary

Manage and lead the 300mm semiconductor technology development integration team focused on process integration of silicon photonic devices from development and customer engagement through production. The role balances technical leadership, program and quality management, and cross-functional coordination to mature and deploy silicon photonic technologies.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Lead integration, qualification, and continuous improvement of silicon photonic technologies across development and manufacturing, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.

• Own process integration and qualification of new silicon photonic technologies and features for production readiness.
• Manage customer and supplier interactions related to technology maturity, delivery expectations, and IP protection.
• Provide tools and complex analysis of quality issues and their financial impact.
• Define and drive standardized site-based quality and global qualification processes.
• Drive discipline in qualification robustness and standardization across sites; may support multiple sites.
• Ensure technologies meet customer and market requirements to avoid costly redesigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and assignments as needed.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs.

Requirements

Core technical, leadership, and communication requirements. Items labeled "Must-have" are required; "Preferred" are desirable.

• Must-have: Management experience leading technical teams and programs in semiconductor process integration or related areas.
• Must-have: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; fluency in English.
• Must-have: Experience with semiconductor processing and device characterization, and working with customers and suppliers on technology maturity.
• Preferred: Experience in silicon photonics and strong background in photonics and CMOS device physics.
• Preferred: Structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Preferred: Strong presentation and technical writing skills; ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external teams.

Education Requirements

PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering/physical science discipline; typically paired with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
