The role focuses on RTL/logic design, microarchitecture participation, RTL verification support, and optimization for power, performance, area, and timing to prepare blocks for physical implementation.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typical qualification: Bachelor's degree +4 years relevant experience, Master's degree +2 years, or PhD +1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design, verification support, and quality assurance of logic IP blocks.

  • Develop logic design, write RTL (SystemVerilog) and create simulations for IP blocks.
  • Contribute to architecture and microarchitecture decisions for assigned blocks.
  • Perform quality checks across RTL, timing, and power convergence stages.
  • Optimize RTL for power, performance, area, and timing; ensure design integrity for physical implementation.
  • Review verification plans and work with verification teams to resolve failing RTL tests and ensure feature correctness.
  • Collaborate across teams and geographies to integrate IP into larger systems.
